In addition to recording projects, the group undertakes an annual project with the Royal Academy of Music.  Over several months, postgraduate composers are involved in demonstration sessions, workshops and rehearsals, and ultimately six composers are chosen to write for the group, culminating in a public performance of their creations.  The project is overseen and led by composer Judith Weir.

As well as this education project, Blossom Street programmes new music regularly, and is dedicated to showcasing new talent.  If you are a composer and would like to discuss a potential collaboration, please get in touch
